This youth recreational league is designed to maximize FUN for all ages and for all experience levels, while continuing to promote soccer skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11 are welcome to play; no experience necessary.

 

Fall Season:

East San Jose FC Rec Soccer is introducing a new format for Fall 2024 - 7v7 games for 2018-2015 and 9v9 for 2014-2013. The 2020-2019 age groups will still follow the 5v5 format to allow more touches on the ball. East San Jose FC Rec Soccer is for children from age 4 through 11. The coaches are volunteers who are trained by the East San Jose Futbol Club professional coaching staff. Our program is designed to introduce and teach age-appropriate technical and tactical skills in an environment that will foster an appreciation and enjoyment of the game.

2020-2019 (co-ed): One hour of instruction by our very own East San Jose Futbol Club Competitive Coaches each Friday from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Boys and girls 2018-2013: These ages have separate teams for girls and boys (depending on the number of registrants, these teams might be co-ed.) Practices are held 1-2 times weekly between 60-75 minutes. Locations and times are at the coaches’ discretion at one of our local school fields within San Jose Unified School District.

 

Season Schedule:

All games are on Sundays from 9am - 5pm
Season Begins: August 5, 2024
Season Ends: November 3, 2024
No games on Holidays

 

Location: All games are played at Horace Mann Elementary, Grant Elementary School and San Jose High School

 

Registration details:

• Registration Fees: 2020-2019 $250 ($350 after July 20th), 2018-2015 $300 ($400 after July 20th), 2014-2013 $350 ($450 after July 20th)

• 8-10 games + Playoffs

• Uniform included in the registration

• Registration Closes: August 2, 2024

• U5 Division:  1/1/19 - 12/31/20. 5v5 format Ball size #3.

• U7 Division: 1/1/17 - 12/31/18. 7 vs 7 format. Ball size #3.

• U9 Division: 1/1/15 - 12/31/16. 7 vs 7 format. Ball size #4.

• U11 Division: 1/1/13 - 12/31/14. 9 vs 9 format. Ball size #4.

• Friend Request- If you would like to make a request to play with a specific PLAYER please send us an email to bcedillo@eastsanjosefc.org with the First and Last Name and DOB of both players. Friend requests are not considered unless player chooses a friend that chooses them back. Multiple friend requests will NOT be considered.

• Team formation prioritizes team balance with regard to age and experience of players. We want the competition to be close to ensure a relatively enjoyable season for players and parents.

• There will be practice 1 day per week.

• Our program has a no refund policy.
